Bill Name Change
According to Pakistani law, if you buy any type of property, such as a house, shop, school, or restaurant, you must transfer all the pre-installed utility connections on the said property to your name. Among all these utility connections, the most important and necessary connection is the electricity used in our home or shop.
If you buy any property within the boundaries of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, immediately submit a Bill Name Change application to the PESCO department so that the pre-installed electricity connection on that property can be transferred to your name. As a PESCO user, you can submit your bill name change application online or manually.
Online Application Process For Bill Name Change
Submitting your electricity Bill Name Change Application online is the easiest and fastest process. To submit your application online, scan some required documents, save their soft copy on your mobile or laptop, and follow the instructions.
STEP I
First, visit the website of the (ENC) System, a platform introduced with the support of the Government of Pakistan and PESCO for the convenience of the public.
STEP II
As soon as you reach the (ENC) system website, some icons will appear on the left side of your screen. Select the icon with the “Change” written on it.
STEP III
Now, an online application form will open in front of you, which will have some options; out of these options, you have to choose the Change of Name option.
STEP IV
Now, enter the personal information required in this online application form correctly.
STEP V
Enter the name of the person to whom the electricity connection exists in the “Current Name” field. After that, enter the name of the person you want to transfer this electricity connection to in the “New Name” field.
STEP VI
After entering all the required information correctly, attach all the documents saved on your mobile or laptop to your application and submit it.
Offline / Manual Application Process For Bill Name Change
If you belong to an area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) Province where the internet is not available or you cannot submit your application online for any other reason, PESCO provides the facility to its users to submit their applications through a manual process as well.
To submit your PESCO Bill Name Change Application manually or offline, visit the nearest PESCO office or PESCO Customer Service Center along with some necessary documents.
Ask for the bill name change application form from the concerned authorities. After obtaining the application form, please read it carefully and enter the information asked. Once you have filled out the application form, submit your application by attaching the required documents along with the application.
